National Night out is Tuesday August 1st from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in Lions Park. This year marks the 40th anniversary of National Night Out! Lower Umpqua Hospital District is a proud sponsor of this event along with many local partners. This year local participants in National Night Out include: LUHD, Reach, Video Wave, Reedsport Lanes, Church of God, Reedsport Police Department, Highland Parents Organization, Senior Emergency Preparedness Project, Douglas County Senior Center, Douglas County Senior Services, Cert, South Coast Head Start, Boy Scouts, Dial a Ride, Reedsport Chamber of Commerce, US Coast Guard, and the Reedsport Fire Department.
